Frequently Asked Questions for Preliminary Promoters
Q: As a promoter of a preliminary, what are my financial obligations?
A: Entry fees to National Pageant for the Winner and First Alternate, all travel, lodging, titleholder appearance fees, and any prizes or production expenses determined by the promoter.
Q: How many preliminary contestants can advance to Nationals?
A: Only two contestants may advance: the Winner and First Alternate.
Q: Can I announce my preliminary date immediately?
A: No. Preliminary titles, locations, and dates may not be announced until the required deposit has been received, and contract has been signed and approved by ANR Productions.
Q: Who determines the prize package?
A: Prize packages are determined and funded by the promoter.
Q: Do I have to use a specific crown or sash vendor?
A: No. Crown and sash vendors used are at the descretion of the promoter. Recommendations may be provided under the Venues/Sponsors tab, but there is no requirement to use a specific supplier.
Q: How long does my promoter agreement last?
A: The agreement remains in effect through the completion of the applicable National Miss Comedy Queen competition and may be renewed by mutual agreement.
Q: Do promoters receive admission to Nationals?
A: Yes. Promoters receive two complimentary promoter passes for all nights of the National Miss Comedy Queen competition.
Q: Who handles national eligibility or disciplinary issues?
A: ANR Productions retains final authority regarding eligibility and disciplinary matters at the national level.
